Tuckernuck
(1 item)
Picked this Lantern up at an antique store. They had purchased an entire estate from a Navy commander who had traveled extensively. I don't know if it is Japanese or Chinese. The small close up is one of the dragons(?) on the six sided base. All six sides depict a different dragon(?). Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not going to be able to provide any info specific to this item, but having done some online research about one of my own I can suggest that it is very nice & desireable compared to most on the market and bears further research on your part. I would suggest you contact someone who advertises high-end oriental garden art on the web (I found several such sites) or perhaps an asian art museum in your area. This appears to me to be a true antique and the demand for it should be great. Hope your buy price allows for some healthy profit!
