Picked this old tin sign up the other day at a local antique shop, it's in rough condition, but thought it was pretty unique since it is embossed with the word Coca Cola and Gas. If any of you coke guys know the age of this sign please let me know, thanks for looking.

OOPS !
Thanks pops, you do the same, try to lay off the egg nog. Lol
It's the top part of an 18" x 54" GAS TO-DAY Coca-Cola sign from 1931. In mint condition, these signs fetch around $3,000.
Awesome thanks for the info TGBWC, I knew it was old and one that you don't see to often.
Well . . . as a good friend of mine used to say . . . "it was mint at one time!" . . . .
I wouldn't have left this either, chevy59.
I would've. This is like the "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree" of Coke signs.
I have a Coke sign that you never saw in books as it's not in them nor will you ever see another likely! Interested?
Ya, I'm interested Benking. Why not post some photos of it and we'll decide if it's not in the books or if we've never seen one before.
The excitement is killing us all, please post it!
Thanks gentlemen!
I will post it likely tonight as I have to go to warehouse to take photo of it!
