This is my father's Winchester model 12. He and I spent many hours together hunting ducks, geese, pheasants, quail, and dove. After he passed away my mother sent this home with me to keep. He really loved this gun!

Spending time with your father hunting awsome to inherit his gun priceless!!!!
Nice, I had the same model back in the 70's but gave it to my brother. I still have my Dad's Remington 31 that I hunted with, we never got to hunt together, I was 13 when he became ill and passed away so your lucky to have shared those times with your Dad.
Thanks pickingupbones and EJW, I remember lots and lots of miles walked together trying to flush pheasants and quail and many days we broke ice to set out duck decoys. Great memories, thanks for reminding me that I need to cherish them.

Priceless!!! I have quite a few guns that I inherited from my father, I will always cherish those moments in the field, learning how to track, flush, and shoot. Great memories, I need to think of them lots more. Thank you for the reminder!
