I can remember my grandmother sitting both my baby sister and myself on top of this while she tried our fall clothing on us. She would make items of clothing for us and store them in this trunk, out of the sunlight, up under the eaves of the house. Dad would drag it out from under there every year for her. It is all original, scratches and all.
I miss her!
