Ok, I know it's just a shell, but this was my mother's truck when she was little. We found it laying in the woods on the property she grew up in. Does anyone know what this truck may have been? Would it be worth my time to restore it?

I really don't know- it might be a Wyandotte truck. But I just wanted to say how awesome it is that you found the truck after it had been outdoors all these years.
That is just amazing!
What amazes me is that this isn't the first one of her toys we've found. We also found her old wagon. She says she remembers a GI Joe truck being left out there, but before I could go look a new property owner came in and bulldozed all of the trees. So, the GI Joe truck is lost to time. =(
Great story, glad you saved it.
