My 12 year old found this in a shop last week for $1.50. It is a small notepad from 1947. Has a few pages of jokes in the center section, otherwise had blank pages to use as a notepad. Suspect they were given out as an advertising piece. He was drawn to this as he likes to collect tobacco related products and it displays well with his tobacco cans.
