Looking to find out some information on this please. If anybody recognises anything about it, please help. I know it is italian and possibly a wine carafe, but that much it is! I would like an estimated value too.

    Thanks

Yes, it is for wine. They came with a (usually plastic) recepticle that fits inside the metal part for ice. That way your wine can be served chilled without watering it down. Looks to date from the 1960s-1970s era.

Thanks Paul - have you any idea the possible value or how I go about getting it valued? Thankyou

I hesitate to quote values for items I can't examine in person, plus there are regional differences too. You might try an Internet search for similar items to see the range. Remember, asking prices are not selling prices. Anybody can ask anything they want for an item, doesn't mean it's an accurate market value. Good luck.
