This shell vase is also made from a 75mm artillery shell.
It has been attached to a sheet brass decorative base, so any shell markings are not visible.
The vase has two decorative scenes-- a dove with an olive branch (Peace) and a soldier in a helmet with his wife or girlfriend.

Scott I have an item that suspossedly is trench art but would be too offensive to post. Is there a way to verify this outside of this site? Boys being boys I can picture a soldier wearing this around his neck.
