Any help on this is appreciated.
I assume that it is an advertising print for United Airlines.
I really like the contrast of the silver airplane on the blue and black nightime background.
The coloration on the plane and moon has a metallic shine to it and almost looks like a raised silver foil.
The artist is Clayton Knight (US), who was a pilot and famous aircraft artist who lived from 1891- 1969.

That's really cool!!!! That is diffidently a collectors item since United bought out Continental Airline. A keeper. Love it.
Thanks bratjdd-- I really like it. The dark colors contrasting with the silver of the plane and moon creates a "mood" in the piece.

The poster was done in the 1930's and is of a DC3 over San Fran. Bay. You are correct that the work was done on Foil. Nice item. Definitely a keeper!
Forgot to say that if it hasn't been cut off there should be a legend at the bottom that says "United Airliner over San Francisco Bay".
Thanks for looking and commenting harborguy.
