Another coin I came into recently. It could be a spanish doubloon, but I dont know anything about ancient coins. Is it worth anymore than the value of the silver?
Any information would be great, thank you

These crude early Spanish coins are hard to attribute due to partial designs. What metal is it made of and what is the weight. That would tell you it's denomination. Then one could check out the mint and assayers initials in some of the specialized Spanish books to pin it down. My guess would be that you may have a 4 reales coin from Spain proper struck in the 1600's. Not an ancient coin but worth much more than the melt value.

Militarist, the coin is made out of silver and weighs 12.8 grams
With that coat of arms on both sides I am thinking Spanish Netherlands and possibly as early as the 1500's. I will try and find a copy of the Delmonte book which may hold the answer.
To start with you must be showing us two different coins here and not both sides of the same coin. From what you are showing I am fairly sure that you have two different 4 reales coins that were minted in Bolivia between 1574-1651. These would catalog some where between $100. to 350. dollars.
