I'm not sure if these were police or ambulance lights, they suction down to the top of the car or truck and then clamp down on the sides , I was told that if a light was blue back in the 50's that it was volunteer fire, really not sure. Anyway, I have these lights flipped upside down on the back of my garage door rails hooked up to a pull switch ( like on a ceiling fan). Also there is a 1950's siren that is hooked up separately to a 12 volt garden tractor battery. I only turn this on for a few seconds because it is extremly loud, instant headache, lol.

Looking good. Just a thought, hook the siren up to your garage door as an alarm. Hook up a micro-switch, so when your door is opened, it sounds. You can have a separate switch between the battery for when you don't need it armed.
