Hello since I joined this site, I am really enjoying it and learning a lot, I inherited a lot from my mother but now am looking more at glassware, I have collected 35+ years, but not glass until now. I have a bunch of these wine glasses with ice pick on bottom? I am now looking at bottoms of all glass. I tried to look up tall wine glass and looks like old English? The decanters I have no idea, the one dish my mother used for bananas and sometimes paper towels. the horn pitcher, well I do not know what she was thinking when she got that or maybe it was her mothers? Thanks for looking. toracat MYSTERY solved for ice pick mark! it is Kaysons, see last photo Kaysons Rhapsody Cocktail glass!
Vintage Kaysons Golden Rhapsody Old fashioned Cocktail Glasses for your Mid Century Bar. This swanky pair of cocktail glasses will be coveted by all who are lucky enough to enjoy a cocktail in classic Mad Men style. They are quintessential wedding registry wish list glasses for the Mid Century Bride to be or for today's stylish bride. Perfect for you first cocktail hour in your new home.
These vintage glasses were made by Libbey to match the fine china dishware by the same name from Kaysons Import Corp. They are 3.5 inches tall, 3.25 inches diameter and will hold 8 ounces. They are in excellent condition, still looking great! The pattern Golden Rhapsody features a spray of white broad leafed flowers, I believe it may be Lily Of the Valley; they have one accented leaf also in gold and the safety rim is outlined in gold. THIS is about 4th photo glass.
