JJZ.......was this in the New Jersey Exhibition a few years back ? I'll trade my house for it !!!
FWF, Yes you are correct and very observant, I lent about 20 examples of Quezal Art Glass for the exhibition at the Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village, Millville, New Jersey: FLIGHTS OF FANCY: The Quezal Art Glass And Decorating Company, 1996/1997. This was the first and so far only glass exhibit dedicated solely to Quezal Art Glass. This piece was one of the featured examples.
AmberRose, Thanks for all your positive comments and appreciation...I'm glad you like the collection...
very beautiful vase :)
This one is so unusual and I love the blue flowers. Not that it matters, but how tall is this one JJZ? Just like to get perspective in my imaginings.
dasullywon, yes, this decoration and coloration is unusual for a Quezal vase, some Quezal shades were made with this decoration, however, this is the only vase that I have seen....it is 7-5/8" tall for your reference.
Thank you again JJZ!
Beautiful, just beautiful!
