This antique record player (gramaphone?) has been in my Dad's family for many years. It plays cylinders and does still work. We were wondering what this would be valued at. If you could please email me more information on this, I would very much appreciate it.

Most Gramaphones were built to play 78 records, your disk type puts it a decade or two older than most. What sets these machines apart is the horn, you have one of the most desirable horns and everything looks in great condition. My best guess auction estimate would be between $1,000.00 and $1,200.00.
I've never seen one with such a pretty horn - didn't know they even made them like that. It's beautiful.
Learning new things is one of the great things about this site. I was not aware that this was made in England. Perhaps that is why it is more estheticallly pleasing.
