So this is the pietra dura stone that was included in the micro mosaic lot (see earlier post). Its a bit bigger than the micro mosaic stones, about 2cm diameter. I think it would have been mounted as a pendant. Maybe one day I will find the time to make it a pendant again.
Does anyone have an idea about the age? Thanks a lot!

There it is you promised to show!. Nice piece of Pietra Dura I think it's of about 1880/1890 and indeed nice to make a pendant or brooch of it. It was probably, as so much pietra dura jewelry in Florence, Italy. Thanks for showing!
