My Grandmother had this piece of Milk Glass. It has a silver sticker on it. I believe it says "Smith". It is 9" tall and 4" wide. It is paneled with a fruit pattern. I have never seen another one like it. Can anyone tell me what it is? Thanks, Denise M.

Just a bit of background on this: mould came from McKee and was originally part of that company's Innovation line of pressed glas with cut enhancements from the teens. No doubt Smith acquired some moulds when McKee went out of business. I've seen other pieces of McKee's Innovation lines in milk glass, and those were probably done by Smith as well. Originally, McKee only made this line in clear. Beginning in the 1920s, they pressed some items in colors of the day. I've seen pink and green transparent.
