This is the glass piece that started my obsession with Murano...I was in a thrift store and saw this beautiful glass bowl - I didn’t even know what it was but I knew it was intriguing and heavy. I placed it in my cart on top of my purse, a female walked by and said “Ooh, that’s very nice, it looks like Murano”..I said “who is Murano?”….Then it began…
I had posted this piece on an Italian glass website asking for information and it has been referenced as possibly a Fratelli Toso, but without a label or marking, it is almost impossible to authenticate. This is in my personal collection. At one time I thought about selling it as I have collected a lot of pieces...Since it's my first Murano, it is not going any where....

Hi Hornet,
Thank you for the validation that this is Murano :). Yes, it does look like a Fratelli Toso...Nice to hear from someone who is from Italy and has seen this type of console bowl before :)
