This set is very thin crystal with a nice ring to them. I have about 65 pieces in different shapes but have no idea what it is.

I'm hoping someone can help me with these. I have never seen this label and have tried for days to find it. I thought it would be easy given they have the labels but I have had no luck.

The label does say "GES. GESCH." on it so I know that means they are German. If anyone has any idea who made these glasses please let me know. I would so appreciate any help.

    Thank you!!

"The partial abbreviations ges. gesch., gesetzl. gesch., ges. geschützt or only geschützt are often found stamped or impressed on products and are all short forms of the term gesetzlich geschützt which translated means 'protected by law' and represents an early German form of copyright statement."

vetraio50, Thank you. I managed to figure that out but I can't figure out any dates when that was used. I also can not find who made these glasses even with the label being on them. You'd think that would have made it easy for me. LOL!

Someone told me Moser but I don't think it is at all. It says MOZART then that symbol and then there are initials of K.S.S. all that and I still can't find anything.

Thank you for the website too.

Hi Bellin68! Thank you for the nice welcome. Isn't the weather just lovely in Wisconsin today. ;)

I agree, it's so nice to see other collectors from WI. Just so we never have to fight over something at an estate sale. I'm kidding!

Bellin68, I have not heard of bumblepuppy estates at all. My favorite is OpenHouse estate sales, they have the best ones plus they are not over priced. You are in a totally different area of Wisconsin then I am too. I'm in a Southeastern suburb of Milwaukee and you are in Appleton (I think). I promise to stay out of your neighborhood. LOL!

eye4beauty, Thank you. As for the blue in the pictures, I have no idea how that happened. I'm thinking it's due to the color of the background. It happens to me quite a bit and I end up re-taking the pictures.

Hi again! There are some good ones in Milwaukee but then there are some that are really bad. If you are ever planning to come this way check out Open House estate sales, they have the best and are very reasonable with prices. Then there are some local auctions once a week.
If you like, when Open House has one of their estate sales at one of the local mansions I can fill you in ahead of time. The ones down by Lake Michigan are unbelievable. Talk about needing a bib for drooling. LOL!
