After recently recently getting the bug for coke memorabilia ive stumbled across my first piece. Only thing is, im struggling to actually find anything about it apart from the slogan which is around the 1904 period?
The sign is metal, showing quite a bit of wear. Ive seen several reproductions on ebay but none have the age characteristics of this piece! Im convinced this is an old piece, but were metal signs in production around 1904? Anyone kind enough to share their knowledge, i would be most grateful!
Lots of signs look old, but aren't. Buy "Petretti's Coca-Cola Collectibles Price Guide 12th Edition". If you've got the bug, it will pay for itself quickly. Good luck.
