Originals are worth some money.
MOST of what is found today in antique malls and at auctions are modern.
Key to making a determination is a detailed inspection: Is the chain hand forged? Is the rusting just a modern surface rust applied to give the appearance of age? How is the chain connected to the ball?
All that I see in your photos would indicate this is a Modern creation (MY Opinion).
