Very Large Vase. I don't know much about it other than I think its really awesome. The vase looks like its japanese but there's no japanese or chinese markers mark. I'm perplexed. could it be made by an english maker to look asian. I don't know. If anybody has any input please help point me in the right direction.

these two websites may help you -- appears it maybe french/european sevres -- either fake or original????

It's definitely 100% authentic no doubt about it.

Really nice vase! I also think European version of Asian artistic influence, late 19th century? Part of the mark is worn off, but it does look familiar. Thank you for sharing it. ;-)

A bit more info: Sevres did have one impressed mark like this one used in 1897, which read SEVRES in capital letters.
I modified your last images and turned it around, the impressed that is left beside the whole is 'enis', I checked Saint Denis, but did not find anything. Seems French, but with another name... ;-)
