    These are from Austria, I have been told by a friend in a lapidary club that the gems are real. I for one can not argue as I do-not know either way. I do know that mum was wearing them in 1948 as I have a picture with her wearing them then. The paint looks as if it is Enamel & I believe them to be trimmed with gold. Sorry again it was 1947. Looks like the brain is slowing down also. Ha Ha

      Thank you for the love they belonged to my mum I have a photo somewhere with her wearing them when she was 18. They were brought in Austria
