Coro Wrist Watch

Several years ago I scoured thrift stores, antique malls and flea markets for things that caught my eye. This watch was one of my finds. (I cannot remember the details of the purchase, only that it was done sometime around 1995-ish.)

The inside face of the watch is marked "Coro".
The watch is of gold-tone metal, adorned with aurora borealis rhinestones and imitation pearls. A hinged lid conceals the watch face, protecting it.
Unfortunately, there are many rhinestones and pearls missing on my piece. On the plus side, it's still pretty despite those flaws. When wound, it reliably ticks away, keeping good time. The gold safety clasp is still in tact, and the clasp works well.

Have had little success trying to locate a similar Coro, and have no idea what its worth is. To me, it's priceless, because I'm afforded much happiness every time I bring it up to my ear and hear its rhythmic ticking.

If anyone knows when this particular piece was made by Coro, or a value, I'd love to know. At the moment, all I know is that Coro also produced a silver-tone version of this watch, and I saw it HERE, which is why I signed up at this site!
