I do not know much about this camera radio...what year it is from or what it is worth. It is made by Hamilton Ross. It is a cranberry color and has a carrying strap. I would appreciate any information someone may have! Thank you!

With the look at guts and the look of it 1950's era. Hamilton Ross goes back a ways 20's or so. I could not find one like this so I would say a premium piece for you! Price, ?, is all about who wants it bad enough. Me I would put $200.00 maybe more, tell them try to find another! So many cross collectable here, Radio, Camera Buffs, and 50's Retro collectors. Dave

This appears to be a variation of the 1940s radio cameras made by "Automatic Radio Mfg Co." (Tom Thumb Radio Camera) and "Universal Radio Mfg. Co" (Cameradio). These models are similar in that the camera portion flips downward and the lens/shutter/viewers has the same basic design (except for the branding). The main difference is that the Hamilton Ross camera-radio has a wonderful bakelite body (I've never seen this before) while the others have wood bodies with a covering (I've seen these). Regardless, all of these look to have the same tube radio. As a point of reference, the Tom Thumb and Cameradio have values in the $175 to $300 range.
