This was an easy find with Google.

The Ampell Acro I S220 is a single shot pistol that was manufactured by Ampell Playtime products, located in New York. Most of the gun's parts were made by the Shakespeare fishing reel company in Canada. Powered by the standard 12g CO2 capsule.
The Acro I was manufactured and marketed for a little over a year around 1975, it came in .177 pellet & bb and in .22

Thank you for the information. I thought it was older than that.

Beernut - Old doesn't mean an item has value, it simply says it is old. You have an item here with very limited production which means there are fewer of them out there. Add to that the fact that these didn't function properly means people threw them away which makes even fewer. This was fashioned after the TC Contender but just didn't take off and fly with the problems it had. There are buyers out there and if I were you I would lurk on co2 gun collector sites rather than sending it off to eBay or Craig's list. That way you can get a feel for the market and value. Good Luck with it.
