This object by Peter Asshoff is 9 inches tall. Peter is the son of famous German potters Ingeborg and Bruno Asshoff, and an accomplished ceramicist himself. Peter studied at the University of Art & Design at Burg Giebichenstein. I am uncertain when this was made, 1970's - 1980's - but it is possibly incised "May '77".

This is an "acquired taste" and a definite "change of pace" from my Art Nouveau French posts.
