This is a medal issued in 1953 to commemorate Harry S. Truman. The obverse features Truman's bust facing right along with the wording Harry S. Truman, 33rd President U.S.A. and the dual date 1945 / 1953 ; the reverse features the wording "Harry" / "He's From Missouri" and / Captain in World War I / Colonel U.S.A.R.C. / Senator 1934 / Vice Pres. 1944 / Acceded to the Presidency April 12, 1945. - Not sure if this was an official U.S. Mint issue.
It measures 1 1/8" in diameter. Base metal bronze.
