    Hi Everyone !
    Hope you can help me !! This Dagger measures 11-1/2 inches long...top is missing holder is made of metal of some sort...its tarnishing...I was wondering if it was silver but no marks on it other then design nd on the dagger shield it say 1893 on one side of the blade and 085on the other side with two rifles crossing each other...civil war maybe ? what do you think ? Thanks for helping !!!!

      Not sure on this-- more detailed photos of it would be helpful. Photos of the blade markings and scabbard details would be useful.

      I can tell you that it is NOT Civil War nor a military weapon. The overall look is that it is some sort of ceremonial or decorative piece-- the figure on the grip would reinforce that thought.
