Famous American Sculpture artist Don Drumm, is one of my most favorite finds ever. After researching his work I fell in love with it even more. I found this creative genius so whimsical and easy. I love that it is put to practical use. I was so disappointed when at a sale a family member thought I was going to sell it, (I was not by the way) and the savvy shopper walked away with it. Farewell, my Don Drumm wonder art, farewell.
My collector heart hurts when I read your story! I'm sorry for you that you lost it! But maybe that's how art works - it wonder around and one has to be grateful for the fact you got to hold it for a whole. Let's hope it will come back to you again!
