Picked this one up last week at auction. Wondering what year these were made. Someone hand carved the year 1946 in the back as you can see but wondering if its older than that.

I do see wood case alarm clocks from circa 1918 in one of my references, but I think that the style of this clock would be consistent with circa 1940. That's just my opinion. It's a very nice find in any case. Thanks for sharing.
