I purchased this item it was part of a nautical lot, I believe it's early 1900 coal powered steam mini engine of some type. But I'm not 100 percent sure. It has a heating coil on the bottom with black coal residue, it stands 11 inches tall the base is 6 inches wide, the wheel is 4 inches wide. The base is steel and upper body and parts are bronze. It has a ball valve that is 1 inch total length tall.

It's actually a toy & ran of of a solid fuel that you placed underneath to create steam. There are belt drive toys to go with these.
This is larger than most I've seen.
