Don't know much about the vase other then I'm almost positive it is Chinese. Stands about 6" tall and looks to be hand painted. Small ducks,dragonflies and flowers are all around the piece. Not sure the age but regardless, just a nice piece I love having on my bookshelf.

This is definitely Chinese and it dates from probably the early part of the 20th century.
