Rowenta lighter, Germany 1970s?1980s?

I wish I could tell something about this lighter apart from the brand. I don't even know when t was made. It looks 70s or 80s, but I'm not even sure about it.

I love it's very flat, and small, and light... it looks like it could have been used as a key ring too, although the ring at the bottom is probably intended as a device to hang it from some hook and keep it always handy... I am not a lighters collector at all, but I thought it somehow would fit with the plastic ashtrays.

It's about 12 cm long and the only information you get from them is the Rowenta brand in relief.
