    This black rocking chair has been in the family for God-knows how long. It seems to be disrespectful to sit on it unless I could figure out exactly how old it is. Is it a Gungstol, Windsor, Comb, Boston, Salem or what?

      I have a rocker very similar to yours, only no varnish seems to be natural wood with no finish with a camera seat did you see any information about your chair?
