Jury is still out on this one.......
Have found some links of Murano Art Glass Shells where it looks very much like my Glass Shell here. It is about 3 inches tall, 5 inches long, and 4 inches wide. There are some Bubbles in it, and heavier chunks of Silver Foil. Good weight for its small size as just over a pound in weight.
It may be Murano just a poorer quality.....as NOT all Murano is PERFECT. I have other Murano Glass with some ash in it, or some with tool marks on it. So this may be Murano, just a bit lesser quality.
So what ARE your thoughts on this?? I myself VOTE Murano!

OMG Rose what a fantastic piece of Murano (I'm a sucker for shells). Although I've never seen one, it's obvious by the internal treatment, thickness of the glass and scalloped edge, it's the same as Svazzo's. The tail appears tighter on yours, but that's to be expected in a hand-made piece of glass. Best of all for you, it's pink, which I believe you've said you love... and better still, you were able to steal it for $5.00!!

I thought it Looked a lot (the same) as Svazzo Piece, and we all know that Svazzo knows Murano!!
No question about Svazzo, he's THE authority as far as I'm concerned. If he says it's Murano, IT'S Murano. Again, great piece!
