I picked this purse up near my home at a garage sale...it may of been a personal purse where the owner applied items to the purse how old is it?

bakelite or plastic handle?
I would say plastic handle - 50's-70's. I have these handles that were sometimes sold in a kit (mine were on their own). Do you think they got half way done embellishing it? I have a black velvet (very ugly - and wonderful) purse w/weird plastic beads glued (not sewn) onto a canvas w/some big flat plastic rhinestones that I'll post for you.
