Paper Washer Cane

Just bought my first cane! I love canes and walking sticks but have never been able to find one I really like at a price I wanted to pay till I found this one. It's a paper washer cane I'm guessing around mid 1800's to late. The core is metal and there is metal on the tip, metal detail at right before the handle starts and at the end of the handle. I believe it's a horse training cane but I'm not 100% sure.
