Trinket clock?

I found this tired and weary clock today in a 2nd handshop today I know nothing about clocks and hoping someone could enlighten me. It has "Blessing" and West Germany". It ticks away but personally I think it needs to be serviced.The clock itself sits in a yellow trinket casing to which I originally thought it was a trinket box. I think it is quite lovely and would welcome and appreciate any knowledge of this clock I'm guessing it is 1970s era, thank you.
