This ashtray is more a copy of the GEMINI than of the CLAM ashtray, as the size is virtually the same. The only difference we can see here is that the are where the dentation are is wider and more straight, which makes the two halfs fitting much easier. It also is a safe way to avoid being accused of copying the design.
I have no idea who made this ashtray, but it certainly was a copy that took advantage of the popularity both CLAM and GEMINI got at theit time.
There's one more design I know (but don't have... yet) which was "very inspired" by the CLAM/GEMINI ashtrays... in fact it's a full copy of the GEMINI, only instead of the relief stamp with all the info, it's got a metal circle. I also think it's a Spanish copy.

Not quite the same, but at least the look is sort of simmilar :)
This one is by far the worst of the four astrays with serrated teeth I've got, but it still deserved being in the collection :)
