Well, the holy grail has arrived, an Malta camo with an flash of the Royal Artillery to both sides.
Very worn, but very much original.
Both shell & liner are dated 1941, liner made by FH.
To me it looks like a Malta camo was applied, then over painted again with another Malta camo.
Two for the price of one.
Good on you, getting one you have really wanted!
I never tire of seeing this helmet Aaron like Petey I am quite Jealous .
