    Maybe Native American ?? ( Indian ) rug we hand it on wall with wood
    folk art ( rod ) approx. 60" x 36" in size don't know much about it , would love to know more if any one can shed share some info we would appreciate it , Thanks as usual..

      No, it's not Native American. The Navajo are the only Native American tribe that weaves rugs, and they use a unique loom and weaving technique (an upright loom with a continuous warp), which makes it physically impossible to weave a rug with fringe on both ends like this.

      Decorative rugs with an "Indian style" motif are made in Mexico, India, and Pakistan, or it's possible this is from a Middle Eastern country (where the designs we associate with Navajo rugs actually originated). Maybe someone else will recognize where it is from, all I can tell you is it definitely isn't Native American.

      As usual Thanks, the info is interesting and helpful to me , as I have very little knowledge in rugs/tapestries .
