This is a piece of stoneware pottery from Buchan pottery, SCOTLAND.
made somewhere between 1950 & 2000 which is when the pottery closed ..
its creamy coloured inside and finished in blue with the thistle pattern on the exterior 3.5"h &w and quite heVy for the size ..
ive found these on the web some have lids and are for jam some without for sugar this could be a jam pot with the lid missing or just the sugar pot ??
The base is signed by the artist ?? Which looks like pw or lw..;-)
