    I'm just interested in feedback on the possible timeframe this picture was taken. I think they may be family members but I have no info. except it was passed on through my father's side.

      I dont think there is any way to tell who it is, but I would date them between 1870 and 1890.

      I have seen many Civil War photos on Tintypes / Ferrotypes, so Viking is close 1860's to 1880's would be my guess.
