This is a working large scale engineers model of an aircraft landing gear. The model is mounted in a clear plastic 'cradle' for demonstration. Its made of metal with working knuckles, hinges, hydraulics (sim), springs, locks and cams. The body measures 7" long, rubber tires are 2".

I'm looking for any input on what type of aircraft this was modeled for and any other thoughts. Thanks!
