    All. Any help would be appreciated with this item.
    Unsure whether this is Chinese or Japanese.
    Hopefully the picture is clear enough to see the mark. Having trouble identifying it with online sources.
    It's approximately 30cm in diameter and quite weighty.

      Thanks for the comment and suggestions.
      I have contacted some experts and auction houses and have had mixed replies. Some say Japanese some say Chinese. The mystery continues!

      probably japanese , can,t see the impressed mark too unclear maybe yamatoku related ?
