I got this chair from my mom. I believe she said there was another one with a lady on it. I would really appreciate any information that anyone might have on this chair. Thank you!

This chair speaks to me of being Black Forest, German. The carving and the seat particularly. If so, then it was made between 1870 & 1900. Difficult to tell from one picture but I think I am right.

I believe the chair was made by the George Arndt Chair Company, Dansville, NY. early 1900's vintage.

Yes Muck is correct, it's a George Arndt Chair from Dansville, NY 1900-1910.
