Ebay 12 in rule, No Markings Actually a Chapin No.5

Bought this on Ebay $14.95 Plus $3.47 Shipping. The dirt was so thick I though it might me some type of paint. It has ALL three alignment pins, but some sort or stain on the brass. The No.5 is clearly visible then H. Chapin is fainter and did not come out very well. So what I though was a 65 1/2 on my initial review , I was wrong, but in a good way.
