leafs_11, her description said 1 ounce. I think you can safely assume it is once ounce.

This is a bullion coin. Many countries issue them for sale to people who want to stock pile gold as a hedge against inflation or other economic disasters. These coins are the best way to buy bullion since they are easier to sell than ingots and other forms of gold and silver which will require assay and refining costs resulting in a lower buy price paid to the seller.

Nice coin,,,,probably worth 1600-1800 bucks right now... Maybe it goes up once the interest rates skyrocket and inflation soars 1 or 2 years from now. Hold it and wait,,ez call.
I bought several 1 oz gold coins back after 9/11/01 . Gold was about 250 an oz. Now they are worth 17-1800 each. Probably going up still. Please,,I am not a financial expert but only my opinion.
Dont forget Silver Coins either,,,,percentage wise they have increased more than gold...Blah blah blah.... Nice coin
