I obtained this Ansonisa mantle clock in my grandmothers estate. She had lived in the New York area. I love the piece and did just a little research on it.
I found the same case but with a different "face plate". It has a " 249" embossed on the body and the date is somewhat hard to read. I believe it to read Jan 29 1911 or 1917. The face plate is the most interesting part of the piece to me.
Has anyone see this face-plate before? Or have any direction for me to go in finding information on it?
