    I found these bark scrolls amongst my grandmothers things and they are at least 70 years old. The language appears middle eastern? I would really appreciate any information about their origins.

      If you could give a clearer pic. of one it would help. Looks a bit like cursive Georgian.

      Yes I wondered about prayer rolls. I found them inside the Chinese wicker basket (see other items) and thought they might be part of a wedding present to my grandparents? It remains a mystery until I can translate them...

      So, it confirm Asian, but certainly not Chinese writing :-)
      You may search for writings I suggested an look for similarities.
